Anne Jones

Anne is an experienced and influential wine sustainability professional, combining credibility with strong communication skills. She is a regular keynote speaker, as well as contributing to a range of written and broadcast publications on sustainability topics. Her experience spans two decades at the forefront of UK wine retail with Waitrose, and she is now Development Director of the Regenerative Viticulture Foundation, Sustainability Ambassador and Advisor for WineGB (having helped set up the SWGB certification scheme) and works with clients including producers, retailers, events and educational bodies. She also represents the drinks industry on international and government taskforces, linking the corporate reporting, regulatory and environmental elements of sustainability for the benefit of the category as a whole.

Politically astute, she is well-connected and able to scan the sustainability horizon for trends, standards and regulations to ensure compliance and credibility across a range of sustainability topics. She is a strong believer in collaborative action and communication, demonstrating an ability to distil complex and emotive topics into pragmatic and practical strategic plans.
